Monologue - Mc Donald's Cashier

I’m about to share something to the world that is so big it will blow your mind. Something that could have huge effects on the human kind. But first, let me give you some background info.

My name is Nora and I worked for Mc Donald’s for 5 years. In the beginning it was fun; I loved being an employee. I got to hang out with my friends and cook delicious, no wait, decent food all day long. My life was simple I just grabbed the patties from the freezer with the green light coming out of it, and everything else from the dark room. I was so good at making food that I worked my way up to head fry cook. I had not a care in the world. It wasn’t until the garbage boy disappeared one day that my life started to become, well, stressful. That is when I began to wonder. Where do we get our food from, who manufactures it? I took it straight to the manager, Fred. As top fry cook I had more power than everyone else. After some struggle Fred told me, on one condition. I was to NEVER, no matter what circumstances to tell anyone. I agreed so he told me. He said, “All I know is that every morning a spaceship comes and beams down food. I’ve seen these scary aliens a few times before.” He shrugged as if it didn’t mean anything.
I walked out feeling a spooky sensation. ALIENS DELIVER OUR FOOD!! It was weird, but I loved my job so much I just kept on flipping those burgers. I kept that secret so well. But then he broke my heart. Fred, because I was late today, took my head fry cook position away and sent me to garbage patrol. I am furious!!! And for that I am helping the world and shedding the light on any strange things you might find in your Mc Donald’s meal.
