Faire Du Shopping
Faire Du Shopping
Mes camarades de chambres et moi, nous sommes allées faire du shopping ensemble. Nous sommes allées à la Galerie Lafayette dans le 9eme arrondissement parce qu'il est près de chez moi. Nous avons marché. À la Galerie Lafayette il y a beaucoup de vêtements. Kalia, Liv et moi, nous avons choisi beaucoup de choses. Nous avons acheté deux chemisiers, un blouson et une veste. En plus, nous avons acheté six paires de pantalons. Trois paires sont jeans. En plus, nous avons acheté un short. Enfin, nous avons acheté quatre robes. La vendeuse était aimable. Nous lui avons dit "Bonjour, nous sommes étudiantes qui habitent Paris". Elle m’a dit "Oh, c’est bon! Il y a des soldes maintenant!" Nous lui avons dit "Bon, merci". Après la Galerie Lafayette, nous sommes allées au magasin de meuble qui s'appelle Arcasa Mobilier dans le 8eme arrondissement. Nous avons choisi une grande armoire, un canapé et deux chaises. En plus, nous avons choisi trois tables. En plus, nous avons choisi deux lits—un lit est grand et l'autre lit et un lit superposé. En plus, nous avons choisi une télévision et un four à micro-ondes. Enfin, nous avons choisi une toilette et une douche. Le vendeur m’a dit "C'est beaucoup de choses!". Nous lui avons dit "Oui, nous aimons nos meubles". Enfin, sommes rentrées à notre appartement.

Avant d'aller à l'aéroport
Je me suis réveillée à 8h30. Je me suis levée à 8h45 et j'ai pris une douche. Je me suis habillée. J'ai pris mon petit déjeuner. J'ai mangé un croissant avec de la confiture de fraise. J'ai pris de lait dans la tasse et j'ai bu le lait. Je me suis maquillée et je me suis brossé les dents avec du dentifrice. J'ai mis dans ma valise deux pairs de pantalons, des chemisiers, un blouson, des shorts et des lunettes de soleil. J'ai mis dans ma poche mon argent, mon billet et mon passeport. J'ai mis mes chaussures. Je me suis dépêchée et je suis allée à l'aéroport.

Mr ou Mme Colomb?
Bonjour, je vais vous raconter une étrange histoire que vous ne connaissez surement pas.
Tout d'abord je me présente, je m'appelle Madeleine....Colomb, et oui, c'est le nom de famille de la personne qui a découvert l'Amérique en 1492!!!
L'histoire de ce personnage célèbre tout le monde la connait:
Un italien qui a navigué pendant des semaines sur un bateau espagnol pour trouver un nouveau chemin vers les Indes.
Mais les fabuleuses Terres qu'il avait découvert étaient en réalité: l'AMERIQUE.
L' ile d'Haiti en fait.
Cet homme découvrit un peuple avec des richesses, une culture, des connaissances....
Ceci est l'histoire écrite dans les livres, mais moi je connais la VRAI histoire de....
Christina Colomb, et oui le célèbre italien était en fait une italienne.
Je le sais car je suis sa décendante directe américaine.
Au long des siècles ma famille a conservé les carnets de voyage de cette femme;
je connais donc la vérité .
Pourquoi cette femme fantastique s'est fait passer pour un homme?
Et bien à cette époque seuls les hommes avaient le pouvoir.
Personne n'aurait laisser une femme partir pour cette expédition.
Et si elle avait avoué après sa découverte qu'elle s'appelait Christina, son oncle aurait dit que c'était lui qui avait découvert le nouveau monde: Catastrophe,la gloire et le nom de cette aventurière ne serait jamais rentré dans l'histoire!!
Voilà, vous connaissez maintenant la véritable histoire de LA personne qui découvrit l'Amérique.

Monologue - Mc Donald's Cashier
I’m about to share something to the world that is so big it will blow your mind. Something that could have huge effects on the human kind. But first, let me give you some background info.
My name is Nora and I worked for Mc Donald’s for 5 years. In the beginning it was fun; I loved being an employee. I got to hang out with my friends and cook delicious, no wait, decent food all day long. My life was simple I just grabbed the patties from the freezer with the green light coming out of it, and everything else from the dark room. I was so good at making food that I worked my way up to head fry cook. I had not a care in the world. It wasn’t until the garbage boy disappeared one day that my life started to become, well, stressful. That is when I began to wonder. Where do we get our food from, who manufactures it? I took it straight to the manager, Fred. As top fry cook I had more power than everyone else. After some struggle Fred told me, on one condition. I was to NEVER, no matter what circumstances to tell anyone. I agreed so he told me. He said, “All I know is that every morning a spaceship comes and beams down food. I’ve seen these scary aliens a few times before.” He shrugged as if it didn’t mean anything.
I walked out feeling a spooky sensation. ALIENS DELIVER OUR FOOD!! It was weird, but I loved my job so much I just kept on flipping those burgers. I kept that secret so well. But then he broke my heart. Fred, because I was late today, took my head fry cook position away and sent me to garbage patrol. I am furious!!! And for that I am helping the world and shedding the light on any strange things you might find in your Mc Donald’s meal.

Rear window
In the moovie, a man "Jeff" a photographer broke his leg, and must stay all days long in a small flat. From there they're many views on the neighborhood.
A night, it rains, and he heard shouts from a flat.
The man inside will bring something outside in a luggage, three times, while it's raining, at 3 am!!
He rapidly thinks something important happened.
Helped by his good friend,his nurse, his detective's friend and thanks to his camera, he'll leads an enquet, and finally discoverd that the mysterious man had actually killed his disabled wife.
Unfortunately,after our photographer have all discovered, the murderer push him from his window.
The man'll go to jail, and the reporter will have a plaster at his other leg!!
I really liked this moovie. In my opinion, Hitchcock is a meastro in cinema, one of the best.
All his moovies and especially Rear window are very good: there is suspens, good actors, interessant points of view.
I found it's clever to make the main characters stay at the same place all movie's time long.
The black and white moovies have a "little plus"and are magnificient!
And you Maddy, have you ever seen this moovie? What do you think about it?

1) How do they both fit in the fire?
It doesn't look because the fireplace is quiete far in the picture, but actually, it's a very big one.
So they can be both in it without problem
2) What did her husband do that made her think it was a burglar?
The husband opened his presents rapidly and without taking care about the noise he did.
Moreover the christmas nights, there are many burglars who try to steal people's christmas presents. That's why she believe that.
3) Where are all the other people at the party?
I talked about a party, but it won't be in their house. Indeed, they had been invited by some of their friends indeed. So, they can't be here .

Le Réportage de sport
Bonjour tout le monde! C’est une grande suprise!!Tamalpais High School a gagné le match de basketball contre Redwood. Tout le monde ici à Tam est heureux. Pour Tam le match a mal commencé. Dans le premier quart-temps le score a été dix-huit - douze, Tam a perdu. Jaime et Emma, pour Tam, ont lancé le ballon dans le panier beaucoup de fois dans le troisieme quartier. Dans le troiseme quartier le score a été quarante-trente neuf. Tam a encore perdu. Dans la dernière minute Cara, pour Tam a lancé le ballon dans le panier. Tam a gagné quarante et un - quarante! Yuppee pour Tam High School!

crime in the new yorker
About the picture on the magazine cover. I think while the woman was dressing herself, may be for a christmas party,she heard a noise from downstairs.
It sounded as if a burglar had come into her house.She immediatly took the gun hidden in her bedroom.
As she was going down the stairs, she saw a shape mooving like a shadow and she shot at it.
After two seconds, she realised she had made the biggest mistake of her life.
Because it seems to me that the red dress woman looks very surprised looking at some open presents behind the christmas treee.
Actually, the mysterious man was her husband. He was just opening his presents before the others!!
So she started crying, after expressing her sadness, she bacame totally furious against herself.
She didn't know how make the body disappear .
By looking at the fireplace,she immediatly picked up her husband and put him in the fire.
It was stinking, and the happy fire became a big sadness fire.
So the woman joined her husband: And it has been a big love fire, weird and red...
